Build an Acoustic Audio Room is not a complicated work. We can do it ourselves. And this place is an important place for audiophiles. Commonly acoustic audio room built for home entertainment or karaoke room. When you play a great audio system in your living room, you will not listen to a great sound out of your system. Without Acoustic Audio Room you will never listen to a real sound from your system. Cause almost of living room not designed as an acoustic room. An acoustic audio room designed with sound reflection almost none. Without reflection you will listen to your audio system produce a real sound.

This is my experience when I build my audio room.

First I have to decide where the one of my room to build as audio room is. I think it?s better to build it on second floor of my house. Fortunately this idea comes up when I build my new house. So I have an unfinished empty room on second floor to build. I choose second floor because the effect will less losses than on first floor. It will not be a problem for my neighbor.

Second, I buy several materials. The materials are plywood, rockwool, hollow gybsum board, wood and several nail. You can buy plywood with 0,5? – 1,5? thickness. Thicker is better. Rockwool is fiber to reduce audio reflection effect. It?s about 3? thickness with yellow color. With 1m x 1m dimention, its package in a bulk contain 10 pieces. Hollow gybsumboard is a board made from gibsum with several holes with 4 feet x 8 feet dimention. By this hole the sound will trought to the rockwool to reduce the reflection effect. And the last are wood bar and nail to make frame of board.

Third, start to build. I close all wall, roof and floor with plywood by nail its. Then build frame to set hollow gybsumboard. Set a wood bar to plywood with 4 feet distance (see figure). Fill spaces between wood bar with rockwool. Then close it with hollow gybsumboard. And you can finish it by paint it with color as you want.

And now you can build your acoustic audio room yourself. Enjoy the real and clear sound without reflection effect.
