How to Set Up Subwoofer Sound
Setting Up subwoofer speaker sound with best set up will extremely change your home audio, home theater, home entertainment or home karaoke sound atmospheres. This post will help you find the perfect place to install you home theater subwoofer and how to set it up.
Try to place your subwoofer directly below the television but slightly off the floor. It can be placed anywhere, but this will have a better ?movie theater effect.?
Connect the subwoofer into the receiver. Simply plug the audio cable into your speaker “out” jack on the back of the subwoofer and into the subwoofer ?in? jack on the back of your home theatre receiver.
Adjust the volume on the subwoofer to adjust how much bass is coming out of the woofer. If you are watching an action move or listening to bass-heavy music, a higher level of subwoofer volume will be needed. However, light jazz and romantic comedies do not require the same amount of earth-shaking bass.
Adjust the crossover setting on the subwoofer and on the home theatre receiver. This will determine how the bass is distributed between the subwoofer and other speakers in your home theatre.
Watch a movie or listen to music and adjust any settings to meet your tastes.
Note:
Adjust the volume of your subwoofer depending on what movie you are watching or what CD you are listening to. Adjust the crossover on the subwoofer to calibrate how much bass comes out of the subwoofer. If you want the subwoofer to handle all of the bass, turn the crossover off. If you want to equally distribute the bass throughout the speakers in your home theatre, turn the crossover up.
Enjoy your music with deeper tighter subwoofers sounds.
