Karaoke system is a set of equipment that we can sing a song with music. The music is a full song without vocal called minus-one. Karaoke plays this music and we can sing as a singer. In Karaoke Public Commercial Rental this system used computer to supply songs requested. But for personal use, this system completed by player like Tape Cassette, CD, DVD although Hard Disk as storage of the songs. For better sound quality this system placed at home entertainment room, acoustic audio room or room designed for karaoke.

In personal karaoke system, the equipment used is very simple. The configuration is a microphone, a player (CD, DVD, or cassette tape), an amplifier, a television and speakers.

All the players with karaoke ability as they wrote on the equipment capable to mix or separate channel of recording. In other side karaoke record media contains 2 tracks, left and right track. Left track called left channel contain just music without vocal. And right channel contain mix of music and singer vocal. In audio video karaoke system added a channel for storing video track. So if you want to sing with your own vocal use left channel and the system will play the music in both of the speakers.There are several type of player used as karaoke: cassette tape, CD, VCD, DVD or Hard disk auvi (audio video) player.

Cassette Tape player is oldest technology use magnetic tape to record the music. This player can only play audio sound. There?s no video signal recorded.

Compact Disk Audio player is developing result of magnetic type. This disk contain digital audio signal but still record two audio tracks. No video signal recorded.

Video Compact Disk player is an equipment to play video digital signal recorded in compact disk media. Because video signal get more space to record, the audio signal downgrade to low quality sound recording. But with video system we can sing easier because there is text steaming appears when we sing.

Digital Video Disk player is better than VCD because DVD can give more space disk than VCD. In VCD we can store 700-800 MB, but DVD can hold 4 GB digital data. With high capability to store video signal, DVD give us more detail video and the audio is clearer.

Hard Disk AV player is combination of audio video system technology with computer hard disk reading technology. With hard disk as storage media we can store music very much. 160 GB can store more than 10.000 songs.

There is no reason not to enjoy karaoke system in our home. Just buy a player and other additional equipment, we can enjoy karaoke privately.
